LEON QIN
President
Leon Qin (he/him/his) is the President of the All Asian Arts Alliance. He is a Chinese Canadian actor and a Junior in the TISCH Drama program at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. He loves eating, playing Smash Ultimate (currently a Rob main), and exercising via calisthenics. Feel free to reach out to Leon and ask him any questions you may have or if you just want to get poutine and hang :)

SOROSH ARIF WEIN
Vice President
Sorosh Arif Wein (he/him/his) is the Vice President of the All Asian Arts Alliance. He is a Pakistani-American actor and a Junior at The Stella Adler Studio of Acting. He loves martial arts and is trained in Karate, Wing Chun, and Ju-Jitsu, he also loves fitness, politics and science and, of course, acting. He is grateful to have been in Tisch’s Studentworks Production of The Ramayana, the first eastern production at Tisch, and has been in many other productions including Gloria at Playwrights Horizons and Romeo and Juliet at the Stella Adler Studio. He loves talking to people about art and the Asian experience feel free to come and have a chat.

JULIE CAI
Secretary
Julie Cai (she/her/hers) is a 3rd year drama major at NYU Tisch with training at the Lee Strasberg Institute, Shakespeare in Performance at RADA, and Playwrights Horizons. She is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to study theatre and create art that celebrates queer people of color. Julie recently performed as Holly in Blood in Your Blood (Tisch Drama Stage, dir. LA Williams) and as Technician in The Asian Crime Show Play (Powerhouse Theater, dir. Vick Liu). Julie is also one of the co-founders and current e-board members of NYU Tisch's All Asian Arts Alliance.

ALYSSA NAKA SILVER
Treasurer
Alyssa Naka Silver (she/her/hers) is a third-year student at NYU Tisch Drama currently studying Shakespearean Performance at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London (Experimental Theatre Wing, Atlantic Acting School). Alyssa is a proud Hapa and is passionate about Asian representation in the arts. Her most recent performances were in Untitled Waifu Play as The Goddess Izanami (Playwright’s Horizons Theater School) directed by Jonathan Chang and UPDATE as a supporting performer (FringeBYOV) directed by Michael Delaflor.

GRACE TONG
Tisch Dance
Grace Tong (she/her/hers) is a performing artist and choreographer currently pursuing a BFA in Dance and a minor in Gender and Sexuality Studies at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Other programs she has attended include Cornish College of the Arts Preparatory Dance Program, BODYTRAFFIC, Northwest Dance Project, and Alonzo King LINES ballet. Recently, she performed works by Allyson Green, Jose Límon, Ihsan Rustem, Donald McKayle, Bob Fosse, and more, and choreographed Raw Woman Breakfast (Nov 2019) and The 7 Mysterious Holes (of the MemBrain) (May 2019).

TUÂNMINH ALBERT ĐỖ

Tuânminh Albert Đỗ (he/him/his) is in his final year at NYU Tisch Drama at NSB. He is of Polish and Vietnamese background. As a person of mixed background he is excited to be a part of this club and hopes to form a conscious community that is inclusive, reflective, and visionary for a future with diverse representation and unique narratives. He loves tiny houses, yoga, anime, jamming and fried chicken. He is humbled to have take part in the 2018 Tisch Festival of Voices that was focused on promoting Asian American Playwrights and the Tisch Student Works first eastern play The Ramayana.

NOAH KIM
Tisch Film & Tv
Noah Kim (he/him/his) is a filmmaker born in Daegu, South Korea and raised in the United States. Throughout his career, he has made a name for himself as a director and a producer. Noah’s videos have garnered hundreds of thousands of viewers. His work has been featured on New York Magazine, Vulture, and CNN. He is passionate about worldbuilding and telling stories about the human-conditon through the lens of cinema.

TANYA VORA
Tisch Clive Davis
Tanya Vora (she/her/hers) is a senior at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. She is from Toronto, Canada but was raised in Muscat, Oman and spent some time in Changshu, China. Tanya writes, produces, and performs her own songs (catch her performing around town!) and in her free time is on the e-board for International Student Council and is a chair for Tisch All Asian Arts Alliance. She likes white wine and exploring NYC's best food spots.

MARC MANALOTO

Marc Manaloto (they/he) is currently a Junior at Tisch Drama. They studied primarily at Atlantic Acting School before transferring to Stonestreet Studios. They are proudly Filipinx and love to munch when they’re not working.

VICTORIA JISOO HAN
Tisch Performance Studies
Victoria Jisoo Han (she/her/hers) is Freshman at the Tisch School of New York University. She studies Performance Studies and minors in Business in Entertainment, Media, and Technology. She was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, and attended high school in Boston, Massachusetts. Fun fact about Victoria is that she has played the violin for more years than she has spoken English. She likes to watch films, up-cycles clothes, and listen to new music.

LAUREN NGUYEN
Tisch Dramatic Writing
Lauren Nguyen (she/her/hers) is a third year dramatic writing student. She mostly writes drama/melodrama. Besides writing, her biggest passion is music and she loves to sing in my free time. She loves 90s movies, they're her favorite. She also watches a surprising amount of K-dramas, to the point where it's impossible to choose a favorite.
